At Lending Luxury, Inc. we provide a unique fashion experience that allows you to rent exquisite high fashion dresses in a variety of sizes and styles to accommodate your individuality.  At Lending Luxury, we are continuously updating our looks to keep pace with the latest fashion trends throughout the world.  Not only do we provide rentals of high quality brands, but we also offer the option to purchase these chic items at extremely affordable prices.  At Lending Luxury we are here to turn your imagination into reality as we give you the ability to rent or buy from worldwide designers on a regular basis with the click of a mouse.

How do I become a Lending Luxury Client?

Membership is free, just go to our home page and create an account.  (Don’t worry, we will never give out your email address).

Couture At Your Door

You will receive your dress within 1-3 business days, Unless you choose to express mail it.  Once you receive it, you then have 5 fantastic days to prance around and feel like a million dollars, all the while knowing you only paid a quarter of the price for the designer you are wearing.

How do I return a purchased item?

Repackage your purchased item with all of the original accessories, ie. belts, straps, etc. Be sure to include a copy of your receipt.  Choose your own method of shipping.  You will also be responsible for the cost of shipping the product back. Send your package to our warehouse address:

How do I cancel an order?

We take pride in shipping our items in a timely manner.  If you place your order before 2:00 p.m. EST we usually will have that item in the mail that same day unless you have reserved it.   Should you decide to cancel your order, please call our customer service line at 1.800.403.9848 immediately. If you have reserved your dress and you are canceliing your order prior to 2 weeks of the event date, we will happily issue you your money back in the amount of your order. If you decide to cancel within 2 weeks of your event, you can receive 100% store credit. If your shipment has already been sent out for delivery, you will then have the option to return the unopened box with a postmark date of either the day it arrived or if you receive it after 3:00 p.m, the following day after it arrived and receive  100% store credit, however you will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping. Please Note:  If the box comes back to us opened, you will be charged for the full rental price of the dress. 

 

Are these dresses replicas or authentic?

Each and every dress made available to our members is 100% authentic.  You never have to be embarrassed by wearing a “fake” when you are wearing one of our dresses.

Are these “new” dresses?  What condition are the dresses in?

Rental Dresses: All of our dresses are either “new” or in “like new” condition.  We have very high standards at Lending Luxury, Inc.  Each dress goes through an elaborate process of quality control before we allow it to be rented by one of our members.

Buy Now:  If the “Buy Now” price matches the retail price that is shown on the description (.3cents-$1.00 is still considered a matching price) this particular dress is a brand new, unworn piece. If the “Buy Now” price is below the retail price shown in the description, the dress has been previously worn. The deeper the discount, the more times it has been rented. Each dress goes through an elaborate process of quality control before we allow it to be bought by one of our members.

What are some advantages to renting a dress instead of buying?

Here are just a few of the many reasons to rent instead of buying:

  • You can wear the same fashion names featured in current fashion magazines or worn by your favorite celebrity.
  • You can shop for the season’s hottest new dresses from the comfort of your home without travel to big cities or trendy boutiques.
  • You can save money by resisting the urge to accumulate a closet full of dresses that cost a fortune – but are quickly outdated.

 

How do I know my dress is clean?

Lending Luxury can assure you that your dress is fresh and ready to be worn.  We take pride in our clothing and through our affiliation with an eco-friendly dry cleaner we can guarantee that your dress will arrive in new or like new condition.  Additionally, your dress will be shipped in a sleek, sturdy garment bag designed to provide extra- protection during shipment.

What are my delivery options?

You have the option of :

  • USPS Priority- 1-4 business days,
  • USPS Express-overnight
  • UPS 3 day select- 3 business days
  • UPS 2nd day air- 2 business days
  • UPS Next Day Air- Overnight

*** Please note that if you ordered your dress after 2pm EST, your dress will not be processed until the following day******

 

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location.  We offer several shipping options with UPS or USPS so you can select which works best for you. Return shipping and handling is FREE!!!

What if I want my dress delivered to a hotel?

We can deliver anywhere except for a P.O. Box.  If we are going to deliver to a hotel, please put the hotel’s name and address on the order form and the person’s name that has the reservation.  Please advise the hotel that you will be expecting a package from Lending Luxury.

Do you deliver outside the continental United States?

Currently, we only rent products within the continental United States.  If you are interested in purchasing a couture dress and you live outside of the US, please contact us so we can make arrangements based on your location. You may contact us at Customerservice@lendingluxury.com

Can I have shipment tracking information?

Absolutely, You will receive a confirmation email once your item has been sent that includes your tracking number.

When does my rental period end?

Your Rental Period ends on the 5th day after you receive the dress.  So if you received the dress on Monday, you must return the dress on Friday and it must be postmarked before 2:00 p.m. EST.  In the event you cannot get the return package postmarked before 2:00 p.m. EST, you may return it to us by overnight mail at your own expense.

What if my rental period ends on a Sunday or Holiday?

We completely understand, just drop off the package at any USPS location the following day before 2:00 p.m. EST or call your local USPS provider to schedule a pickup right from your house the following day.

What if I want to keep the dress?

GREAT NEWS!  You may choose to purchase the dress at any time during the 5-day rental period and receive a credit in the amount of the rental fee toward the purchase price. 

What if the dress isn’t the perfect fit?

We have gone above and beyond to provide a detailed description of each dress in our inventory including a recommendation of the body type on which it would best fit. Each designer has their own special sizing charts and these charts are provided on the website to put your mind at ease when ordering.  If it is your first time renting from a particular designer and the dress does not fit, please call us immediately during our regular business hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST, at 1.800.403.9848 or email us immediately at Customerservice@lendingluxury.com.  We will ship you another size of the same dress or a different dress that is of equal or lesser value free of charge, less the cost of shipping, provided you return the unworn dress and it is postmarked within 24 hours of when you received it.  However, if you rent a dress by a designer whose dress you have already rented and the dress does not fit, you will still be charged for the full rental fee.

Can I rent more than one dress at a time?

Of course!

Can I request an item for a certain date?

We don’t advertise that we take reservations however, if you fall in love with a dress you absolutely must have for a certain date, we will gladly take your reservation ( It will be our little secret)  Please contact us at 1.800.403.9848 or email us at Customerservice@lendingluxury.com to speak with a stylist expert that can take your reservation.

 

When is my credit card charged for item rental?

The rental fee, optional shipping charges, taxes and other applicable charges are charged to your credit card at the time your order is shipped.  Prior to shipment, we pre-authorize your credit card for the total amount of the transaction, but will not put it through your bank until the item is shipped.

Do you accept check or money orders?

Sorry, at this time, we do not accept checks or money orders.

What, if any, taxes apply to my order?

Unfortunately, we are required to collect sales tax on behalf of the State of Florida.

How do I return my order?

Here at Lending Luxury we have made it very simple for you to return your items.

1.    Use the return shipping label provided in your original box that Lending Luxury sent to you

2.    Place your item in the original box your dress was shipped in. Please do not destroy the box, as you will have to get a new one if that happens!  Stick your return label on the box.

3.    There is no need to dry clean or lauder your dress, as we will do all of that for you.  Please keep the garment bag, as it is a complimentary gift!

4.    Lastly drop the box off at any USPS location or call your local driver to come and pick it up.  Remember the box needs to be postmarked by 2:00 p.m. EST for you to avoid a late charge.  If your date falls on a Sunday or holiday, it must be post marked by 2:00 pm EST the following day.  If you are concerned about incurring a late fee, you can always overnight it back to us at your own expense.

We will then expect seeing the returned dress on the 1st or 3rd business day after your rental period ends. 

What if the dress is accidentally stained or damaged?

We hope you care for our dresses as if you were borrowing them from one of your friends and that you will return the item in much the same way you received it.  We understand that there will be everyday wear and tear and there may not an additional fee assessed in these instances.  Lending Luxury provides $100.00 damage insurance toward any repair due to normal wear and tear, including but not limited to re-hemming, replacing buttons/snaps, or repairing a strap.   If the product requires more extensive repairs exceeding the $100.00 insurance, as determined solely by LLI, you will be charged the difference between the cost of the repair and the $100.00 insurance. Please do not try and remove stains or fix things that are damaged. However, if the dress is returned in a condition beyond repair, as determined by us, you will be charged a reasonable repair or replacement fee. Please Note:  Insurance does not cover theft, loss, or destruction of the dress.

What if I return my order late?

If your item is returned late you will be charged $15.00 per day for the first two days after the rental period ends.  On the 3rd day after the rental period ends, you will be charged the full rental price once again. 

For example: If your rental fee is $50.00, you get to use the dress for 5 days for the $50.00.  On the fifth day, you must have your return package postmarked no later than 2:00 p.m. that day.  If you do not have it postmarked until the 6th day, you will be charged $15.00.  If you do not have it postmarked until the 7th day, you will be charged another $15.00 for a new total late charge of $30.00.  If you do not have the return package postmarked until the 8th day, you will be charged the $30.00 late charge plus another $50.00 full rental fee.  We will treat return of the product after the 8th day as if you rented it again.  This means that the return package must be postmarked no later than 2:00 p.m. EST on the 10th day after you received your dress.  Otherwise, additional late charges will be applied.

What if I misplace/lose my return label or the shipping box?

To reduce the chance of misplacing it, we advise that you keep the label in the shipping box until you are ready to return your dress.  If you happen to lose it, you will be responsible for your own return shipping costs.  Please make sure you do not destroy the shipping box as you will need that box in which to return your dress.  If you happen to destroy the box, it is your responsibility to get a new one!  Please note that losing the return label or shipping box will not extend the rental period and you may still incur late charges.

What is your return policy on purchased items?

Lending Luxury will gladly accept returns on “Buy It Now; products within 5 days of the day you receive the product.  However, you will be charged any and all applicable charges set forth as if you had rented the product.  You will then receive a store credit for the difference between the purchase price and the rental fee.  You will also be responsible for the cost of shipping the product back. All TRUNK sale items are final.
